What Personal Information do we collect?
"Personal Information" is defined in applicable privacy legislation and normally does not include business contact information such as name, title or position, business address, telephone number, facsimile number or e-mail address. The types of Personal Information that we may collect includes your name, home address, telephone number, personal e-mail address, billing and account information, information about your legal issues and other information incidental to providing legal advice and services such as information about witnesses, family members, beneficiaries, directors, officers, employees, adverse parties, parties-in-interest, investigators, decision-makers, experts, other professional advisors and our clients' business partners, investors, shareholders, competitors and customers whom are individuals.
To Whom Do We Disclose Your Personal Information?

How do we limit collection?
Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention: Personal information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required by the law. Personal information shall be retained only as long as necessary for fulfillment of those purposes. We retain certain information as required by relevant law. For Clients, personal information is destroyed after the period required by government regulation and as required or suggested by regulatory bodies. For clients, we retain personal information for follow-up service.
Accuracy & How May You Obtain Access to Your Personal Information?
Upon request to the Privacy Officer, and with appropriate identification, you shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of your personal information and shall be given access to that information. You shall be able to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the information and have it amended as appropriate.

What security safeguards do we use to protect your Personal Information?
Safeguards: Personal information is protected by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. We have taken steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that personal information in our custody or control is protected against theft, loss and unauthorized use or disclosure and to ensure that the records containing the information are protected against unauthorized copying, modification or disposal. We protect all personal information, regardless of format, against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, or modification. More sensitive information will be safeguarded by a higher level of protection. The method of protection will include organizational measures, physical measure and technical measures. We take care in the disposal or destruction of personal information. We do not store some personal information online. We use industry standard firewall, encryption and password protection systems. Our client files are stored in locked storage lockers. Where Personal Information is sent to a third party for processing we ensure that all Personal Information is kept secure.
